Echols v. Lee. Willie Echols sued his attorney, Lance Lee, for malpractice, claiming the attorney’s failure to include a property in Echols’s bankruptcy petition resulted in his inability to refinance it because of liens on the property. Echols appeals the dismissal of his claims for damages, including for emotional distress, lost equity, higher interest payments, loss of rental income, and lost development value. COA #854089.
