Personal Restraint Petition of Tedgy Carnell Wright (848607)
In 2019, a jury convicted Tedgy Wright of rape in the first degree, rape in the second degree, robbery in the first degree, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm based on two separate incidents. This court affirmed the convictions on appeal. In December 2022, Wright filed this personal restraint petition asserting that the court should have severed the two trials, that the court improperly charged the firearm enhancements, that it should have granted his motion to suppress evidence, and that he was subject to ineffective assistance of counsel. COA #848607, King County Superior Court # 18-1-02992-5.
